Pelvic/Vaginal Steaming for Labor
Labor preparation by Steaming beginning 38 weeks gestation
Steaming can be useful for labor preparation as well as during labor because it supports relaxation, increases lubrication and circulation in the womb, all things needed for labor to start and progress. We will go over how to prepare your body for labor beginning 4 weeks before your due date or at 36 weeks gestation, the supplies you need to get started, and how to steam. Steaming can be done before labor, during early and active labor. It can support the beginning of labor as well as support a stalled labor. Contact us to schedule a consultation so we can discuss your needs and plan for labor. Consultations alone are $35, but is included in a facilitated steam session by me, a Certified Steam Practitioner.
Sessions start at $80 if I facilitate it, with a reduced rate (15% off) for subsequent sessions. We also recommend renting our supplies for the subsequent sessions as an option for a more feasible choice (starts at $50) with curbside pickup. Rentals can be delivered for a small fee.
Herbs can be purchased separately.
If I am your Birth Doula, you will receive a discount on steam sessions (labor prep only).
